KanAm Grund´s management uses the bulk of the fund assets to acquire first-class, well leased real estate in select locations. Another portion is invested for the short-term in accordance with legal requirements to provide liquidity.
Open-ended real estate funds are subject to, among other things, the “Investmentgesetz” (InvG – German Investment Act), Fund Rules, which are designed to ensure investor protection, and government supervision by the BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority). Compliance with statutory regulations is strictly monitored.
