Suspension of the redemption of units in KanAm grundinvest Fonds

In accordance with section 81 of the Investmentgesetz (InvG – German Investment Act) in conjunction with section 12(5) of the General Fund Rules, the management of KanAm Grund Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH has resolved to declare the suspension of the redemption of units in KanAm grundinvest Fonds effective May 6, 2010. This means that all sell orders that have been received by the custodian bank or KanAm Grund as the entity maintaining the securities account for execution since 11.30 a.m. on May 5, 2010 (order acceptance deadline) will no longer be executed.

Redemption has been suspended for liquidity reasons and to protect the investors. The suspension period is initially limited to three months.

The calculation and publication of the issuing and redemption prices on each exchange trading day are not affected by this measure.

Please note that since Friday May 14, 2010, KanAm Grund is once more issuing units in KanAm grundinvest Fonds. This means that since this date, deposits are again possible without restriction, including those for accumulation plans.
